At my job I use a tool called Live Chat. I’m sure you all have seen the little icon’s on random websites that say “click here to chat with us live”. Well I’m the one on the other end that answers those clicks. Today I had a customer say that they would be willing to fly to our country (I’m in the U.S. if you didn’t know) in order to buy a product from my company that I work for. Surely it can’t be worth it to fly here to get a few things here and carry them back, would it? According to him it is. The exchange rate is so much in his favor that it is cheaper for him to fly here, pick up a few units, and bring them back to Australia with him. He says that everything he buys now is from over seas as the high shipping cost is worth it. Is the dollar that bad? I think so. Maybe I should be living somewhere else? Maybe here! I want one of those houses on the palm island!
