I got my hands on a job and started this week. I’m now a technical support professional as they call it. Now I’m spending my days at a company called Stream that’s located just outside of Portland in a suburb called Beaverton. Stream has many contracts with large well known companies to do technical support and basically call center support. It’s a big place. I’m not sure if I can mention which company I’m doing support for, as there is confidentiality details I’m not sure of, but I can say it’s the industry leader in image, video, and web manipulation, creating, and desgin. There are some really good points which I’m looking forward to: I’m being extensively trained by people that know what they are doing. The down time will be good time to utilize to do other projects and learn more about the software. And the people seem to be mostly cool which when it comes down to it really can make a difference.
I’m thinking to myself that as I write this I’m in my break from going to work and sleeping. So I’ll make it short and get some much needed sleep time before the weekend comes rumbling in. Have a great weekend!
